New Member Of The Family

I know it's been awhile since my last post, but life's been busy. There's been everything from sick days, to beach days, and those kinda days where you have no ambition to do a darn thing. Then, there are days you are trying to keep up with the newest itty bitty member of the family, who despite his short legs, and small size, is quick, smart and sneaky.

I'd like to introduce you all to the newest member of the family ..... Jax
Jax is 14 weeks old, 3 pounds and is 1/2 Yorkshire Terrier, 1/4 Chihuahua , and 1/4 Pomeranian
We weren't talking about getting another dog, but when I saw his pic, I knew I had to have him. I've always wanted a chi, and I love yorkie's and pom's, so this seemed like a great choice! He came home with us a couple of weeks ago and has adjusted very well. He's hilarious! We spend hours just watching and laughing at the cute little things he does. The other boys are getting a good work out from him chasing them around the house and yard, and he loves to cuddle. That's what we were doing the night I took the picture below. Don't you just love his puppy fauxhawk? Ha ha...I had to do it!

Some of you know, and some do not, that we are unable to have children. Adoption would be great, but we simply don't have the funds to pursue that avenue. SO.... we have furry kids. I know some people cringe when people say that, and to be honest I do at times as well. However, in my case, it's almost like they are my furry kids. I don't go all overboard and take them to the store in a stroller ( although some people choose to, and that's ok, free country and all) , and other things, but I do love them. They've all come along at a point where I was struggling , and even on the darkest of days, they make me smile.

Do you have pet now, or in the past that helped cheer you up when you were down, or that filled some sort of a void for you? We'd love to hear about it!
