The Power Of Music

I have always loved the Muppets. When I was little my little brother and I would sit and watch them tuning out any and everything else. Most of the time Dad would watch with us. It was great. Dad also was a HUGE Queen fan. Bohemian Rhapsody being one of his favorite songs. I suppose that's why this video always makes me happy.... 

Isn't it awesome how music and Muppets can bring back good memories and make a person smile when they are feeling down, or not feeling well. I am always amazed by the power of music, and it's ability to evoke all different kinds of emotions. Just the other day I put a CD in the car and drove away to pick up my Mom for lunch and shopping. Almost immediately it brought back memories of my days in Cali as a nanny. I could tell you where my friends and I were and what we were doing most of the time when we listened to each song. 

For example, the following song was one we all jammed to at the Halloween Party I had the October before I left Cali. I have a video of us... there must be 20 people spread out in the back yard singing along to this one...

I also remember this song playing on the radio of the car as Mom and Dad chatted in the front seat when we were little. Dad was a HUGE music lover and almost always had the radio on. If not, all my lil bro and I had to do was start singing some crazy kid song, and click... there was the lovely tunes ♫♪♫♪♫. 

Ahhhhh music... it's like drug... only good for you.
